Group Rates
Small Group
We will happily drive you and your small group in your vehicle on a customized wine tour. Needless to say, the number of participants is limited to the number of seat belts in your vehicle. Before the tour, we will secure appointments at all wineries on your customized tour. During the tour, you will be safely driven from your accommodation to all wineries on the tour and enjoy the company of your witty and entertaining driver. Should you choose to make a lunch or dinner reservation as part of the tour, your driver will drop you off and pick you up as part of the service. After the tour, you will be driven to your accommodation where all of your wine purchases will be unloaded and carried to your specified location. The total charge is based on the hours indicated on your customized tour itinerary. The fee for a 6-hour tour is $425 plus $75 per subsequent hour. A deposit of half the tour fee plus pre-paid tasting fees secures your tour date. (Tours less than 6 hours are $85 per hour - see bottom of this page.)
We are located in Oliver. The following travel surcharges apply to Okanagan regions: Oliver - $0, Osoyoos, Okanagan Falls & Kaleden - $20, Penticton/Keremeos - $40, Summerland/Naramata - $50, Peachland/West Kelowna - $70, Kelowna - $90, Lake Country - $100, Vernon - $130.
Tasting Fees
Driven Wine Tours will make all reservations required for your wine tour but you are responsible for the tasting fees at each winery. During the pandemic, most wineries switched to a reservation model. As a result, wineries do not always honour drop-in clients. The reservation model eliminates wait time at wineries but wine tasting fees have also increased under this model. Many wineries no longer waive the tasting fee upon purchase of wines. However, due to the positive relationships Driven Wine Tours has developed with several wineries, many wineries offer free or discounted tasting to our clients. This list is growing every year. As a result, a group of 4 clients can save $100 - $250 per tour by booking our services (depending on the wineries that are booked).
Short Notice/Short Tour
Sometimes you have limited time but still want to fit in a quick wine tour. Give us a call and we will let you know of our availability. Standard rate for short notice is $85 per hour with a 3-hour minimum charge. Keep in mind that most wineries close at 5:00, a few stay open until 6:00 and fewer still remain open to 7:00. Typically, the last tasting is one half-hour before closing.
